Conference on Sensory Ergonomics applied to retail

Waapiti attends the session on Sensory Ergonomics applied at the point of sale. The event took place on November 7th at the Roca Barcelona Gallery. The conference was organized by the Retail Design Institute Spain, and orchestrated by María Callís, president of this Institute.

A round table was held with experts in different disciplines of sensory marketing, where they shared their vision of the ergonomics concept. From TMM Group-Waapiti, Gemma Cuscó explained how her company translates the concept of Sensory Ergonomics. For TMM Group: ‘Ergonomics is the fusion of two concepts: integration and communication. These are two elements that allow achieving some objectives that the brand has set.’

Gemma Cuscó explained how TMM Group integrates its sensory technology tools to achieve different objectives, and how to implement sensory marketing in order that the result at the point of sale is positive.

The concept of Ergonomics refers to a discipline that pursues the absolute well-being of the buyer at the point of sale, physically, mentally and emotionally throughout the purchase process; in order to enhance its positioning and increase sales in the establishment (Here you can learn more about this concept).
